Fire in the hall

Smoke tripped the alarm at 3:00 AM. Leo opened his door to the single-story motel hallway, but thick smoke already blocked the path to the main lobby. Panic rose as guests scrambled blindly in the haze.

Leo paused, flashing back to the laminated layout bolted to the back of his room door. He visualized the grid of rooms and the emergency arrows pointing toward a rear maintenance exit. "This way!" he yelled, turning left instead of following the crowd. By tracing that mental map, he led the group through the side doors to safety just as the sirens wailed.

But still few people were left behind and the firefighter didn't have any idea how to enter the building to save the people stuck inside. They need some layout so they have a proper plan and work out with the rescue.

Solution: MOUNTAINEER, Everyone was on the first hint "floor plan". There you could see the floor plan and rooms with number. There are room number between 1 to 26 which was original plan for A-Z because there are 26 alphabets in english. Eg: "Moving Straight down the hallway and turning left twice they found a woman in the room." This resolves to Room 13 and "M" is 13th digit in alphabet. And continue following the plan of rescue you full resolve to "mountain". There you see extra bit of hint that points to another rooms adding "eer" after the mountain resolving the final answer.
